- Beautiful Sunday weather
- Woke up to friends in my living room, ate delicious breakfast and worked on a painting.
- Stumbling upon what seemed like the only place open on the plaza, Arcata Artisans, a co-operative gallery/shop which happens to carry the amazing work of Kris Patzlaff, HSU's jewelry and small metals professor. It was a treat to see her work in person, as well as all the other artwork and handmade items in the shop. - Sanded some wood panels in preparation for more art making. Power sanders are amazing tools :D
- Agate hunting at the beach with friends, drinking wine, watching the tide come in and sun set.
- Anniversary dinner at La Trattoria with the man, which was probably the most delicious food either of us have had in awhile. Great classic italian dishes, and super fresh ingredients sourced from local and organic farmers. The owner and his wife cook everything from scratch, and are both super friendly! He even waited our table for us and brought us complimentary homemade ice cream at the end!
Anyways, hopefully I'll have some time this week to come up with some new designs and bring a few new pieces to life! We shall see where the week takes us!
